Este artículo pretende compartir algunas ideas sobre el fenómeno de la indisciplina escolar, tomando como referente el escenario portugués. El artículo está enfocado en la perspectiva preventiva de la indisciplina, presenta resultados y tendencias de la investigación portuguesa y apunta hacia la importancia de la formación de los profesores en esta área.
ABSTRACT: In these article we attempt to draw attention to some reasons for the disruptive behaviours in Portuguese's schools, to present the first Portuguese investigations that are focused in a preventive approach to the problem, to publish data obtained in a study done in some schools located in S. Miguel Island, and, finally, to conclude and underline the importance of potential preventive ways to deal with disruptive behaviours.
