Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT: The present Internship Report was prompted within the scope of the Master's Degree in Pre School and Primary School Education, and is presented as a result of the pedagogical practices carried out in Pedagogical Traineeships I and II. Throughout its elaboration, we present a deepening of the subject in order to emphasize the importance of physical activity in childhood culture, since it must always be present in the children's learning, for it provides them with actual, full development. In addition, it was our intention, in the context of the traineeship, to outline practices in the implementation of traditional activities and games, both in the classroom and in the playground, making students aware of their importance in their learning process, as well as the ludic culture of their parents. In our supervised practices we resorted to observation and reflection. In the empirical work we adopted a mixed methodology: quantitative, through the evaluation of parameters in a group of children and in the application of a survey, supported by a questionnaire answered by their parents and guardians, with the objective of knowing the routines of the children of the two trainee schools; and qualitative in the application of an interview conducted to 5 education professionals (Focus Groups), with questions related to the practice of physical activity in their schools, based on the childhood culture. The results of the study allowed us to get to know the routines of children from the two schools used in our traineeship, as well as the opinions of the various professionals, regarding Physical Activity of Children in Schools and the Role of Childhood Culture - From Educational Policies to Current and Future Practices in Schools. It should also be stressed that activities carried out in the two internship contexts have been considered, which have made a great contribution, both to my professional training, and my personal enrichment.
