Abstract(s)
O tema deste relatório Oportunidades de contacto com a Natureza na cidade: práticas de cidadania na Educação Pré-Escolar e no 1.ºciclo do Ensino Básico tem como finalidade incentivar as crianças destes níveis de ensino para a exploração dos espaços naturais existentes no seu meio envolvente e para a reflexão de como estes devem ser preservados, contribuindo, assim, para a formação de cidadãos conscientes do seu papel na proteção do meio ambiente.
Neste documento, será abordado na primeira e segunda parte uma componente teórica, sendo que a primeira explora a educação para a cidadania e a educação ambiental e na segunda parte são abordadas questões mais específicas relacionadas com os espaços verdes zonas cidades e a relação das crianças com estes espaços. Por fim, na terceira parte serão caracterizados os contextos onde decorreram os estágios e uma descrição reflexiva sobre as atividades realizadas.
Em tom de conclusão, consideramos que no futuro a escola dará mais importância a uma educação para a cidadania e uma educação ambiental baseada em valores, responsabilidade e democracia.
ABSTRACT: The theme of this report Opportunities for contact with nature in the city: practices of citizenship in pre-school education and Elementary School Teaching aims to encourage children of these levels of education to explore the natural spaces in their surroundings and for reflection of how these must be preserved, contributing to the formation of citizens aware of their role in protecting the environment. In this document, the first and second part will approach a theoretical component, the first exploring education for citizenship and environmental education and the second part approach more specific issues related to green spaces in cities and the relationship of children with these spaces. Finally, in the third part will be characterized the contexts where the stages took place and a reflective description about the activities carried out. In conclusion, we believe that in the future the school will give more importance to an education for citizenship and an environmental education based on values, responsibility and democracy.
