Abstract(s)
O presente relatório é o resultado final do estágio realizado no âmbito do mestrado em Ciências Económicas e Empresariais da Universidade dos Açores, que decorreu de 14 de outubro de 2018 a 15 de março de 2019, no La Isla y El Mar Hotel Boutique *****, com localização em Puerto del Carmen, na ilha de Lanzarote do arquipélago das Canárias, Espanha. A principal atividade desta instituição é a hotelaria, disponibilizando acomodação, experiência gastronómica e tratamentos de spa para os seus hóspedes.
Neste relatório, apresentam-se as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio, tendo em conta os conceitos teóricos aprendidos ao longo do percurso académico, na licenciatura em Gestão e no mestrado em Ciências Económicas e Empresariais, tendo-se aplicado alguns destes conceitos durante o estágio.
Primeiramente, apresenta-se uma introdução ao turismo da ilha, uma caracterização do hotel e da sua história, seguindo-se a descrição das atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio e, por último, desenvolve-se uma análise crítica à instituição de acolhimento e às atividades desenvolvidas.
ABSTRACT: This report is the final result of the internship for the master degree in Economics and Business Sciences of the University of the Azores, which ran from October 14th 2018 until March 15th 2019 at the La Isla y El Mar Hotel Boutique *****, based in the island of Lanzarote from the archipelago of the Canary islands, Spain. The main activity of this institution is hospitality, providing accommodation, gastronomic experiences and spa treatments for the guests. This report shows the activities developed during the internship, taking into account the theoretical concepts learned during the undergraduate degree in Management and master degree in Economics and Business Sciences, applying some of these concepts during the internship. Firstly, there is an introduction to the tourism in the island, a characterization of the hotel and its history, followed by a description of the activities carried out along the curricular stage and, finally, there is a critical analysis of the host institution and the activities.
