| dc.description.abstract | O presente Relatório designado Cidadania e Tradições: diálogos e desafios na Educação do Pré-Escolar e no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico reflete sobre as práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas nas unidades curriculares de Estágio Pedagógico I e Estágio Pedagógico II. As respetivas unidades curriculares fazem parte do plano de estudos do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, oferecido pela Faculdade de Ciências Socias e Humanas, na Universidade dos Açores. Neste Relatório analisamos a presença da cultura açoriana no contexto escolar, com o intuito de compreender a relação entre educação para a cidadania e para valores que apoie no desenvolvimento de um ambiente educativo potenciador da formação das crianças e alunos enquanto cidadãos açorianos conscientes, ativos e responsáveis. Para o efeito, no Relatório apresentamos um enquadramento teórico do tema, em que se faz uma revisão de literatura, explorando o conceito evolutivo de cidadania, cultura e educação, estabelecendo um diálogo intrínseco entre os três conceitos; se analisa a importância das tradições açorianas na construção de uma educação para a cidadania consciente e proativa, e por fim, identificamos como estas questões estão presentes no currículo da Educação Pré-Escolar e do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Este enquadramento teórico serviu de ponto de partida ao desenvolvimento de uma prática educacional no âmbito das tradições açorianas e educação para a cidadania, que desenvolvemos nos contextos de Estágio Pedagógico I e II, mais concretamente na Educação Pré-Escolar e no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Concluímos reconhecendo a importância de promover a educação para a cultura açoriana na formação de crianças e alunos que se pretendem cidadãos proativos, críticos, responsáveis, capazes de promover o diálogo intercultural e desenvolver uma maior responsabilidade social. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: This report, entitled Citizenship and Traditions: dialogues and challenges in Pre-School Education and the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, reflects on the teaching practices developed in the Pedagogical Internship I and Pedagogical Internship II curricular units. These curricular units are part of the syllabus for the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, offered by the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of the Azores. In this report, we analyze the presence of Azorean culture in the school context, with the aim of understanding the relationship between education for citizenship and values that supports the development of an educational environment that fosters the formation of children and students as conscious, active and responsible Azorean citizens. To this end, the Report presents a theoretical framework for the topic, in which we review the literature, exploring the evolving concept of citizenship, culture and education, establishing an intrinsic dialogue between the three concepts; we analyze the importance of Azorean traditions in building an education for conscious and proactive citizenship, and finally, we identify how these issues are present in the curriculum of Pre-School Education and the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. This theoretical framework served as a starting point for the development of an educational practice within the scope of Azorean traditions and education for citizenship, which we developed in the contexts of Pedagogical Internship I and II, more specifically in Pre-School Education and in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. We conclude by recognizing the importance of promoting education for Azorean culture in the education of children and students who want to be proactive, critical and responsible citizens, capable of promoting intercultural dialogue and developing greater social responsibility. | eng |
