Abstract(s)
O presente relatório é o resultado final do estágio realizado no âmbito do mestrado em Ciências Económicas e Empresariais da Universidade dos Açores, que decorreu de 1 de outubro de 2018 a 1 de fevereiro de 2019, na CERTEZZA – Sociedade Mediadora de Seguros Lda., com sede em Angra do Heroísmo, na ilha Terceira. A principal atividade desta instituição é a mediação de seguros, através de quatro escritórios em pontos estratégicos.
Neste relatório, apresentam-se as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio na empresa, reputando os conceitos teóricos lecionados ao longo do percurso académico, na licenciatura em Gestão e no mestrado em Ciências Económicas e Empresariais, aplicando-se alguns destes conceitos durante o estágio.
Inicialmente, é realizado um enquadramento do setor dos seguros em Portugal e na Europa, sucedendo-se a caracterização da empresa e do escritório de Angra do Heroísmo. Posteriormente, descrevem-se as atividades desenvolvidas no decorrer do período de estágio curricular, finalizando com a análise crítica à instituição de acolhimento e às atividades desenvolvidas.
ABSTRACT: This report is the final result of the internship carried out under the Master’s Degree in Economic and Business Sciences of the University of the Azores, which took place from 1 October 2018 to 1 February 2019, in CERTEZZA – Sociedade Mediadora de Seguros Lda., based in Angra do Heroísmo, in Terceira Island. The main activity of this institution is the mediation of insurance, through four offices in strategic points. This report presents the activities developed during the internship in the company, recognizing the theoretical concepts taught along the academic course, in the degree in Management and in the master’s degree in Economic and Business Sciences, applying some of these concepts during the stage. Initially, a framework of the insurance sector is carried out in Portugal and Europe, following the characterization of the company and the office of Angra do Heroísmo. Subsequently, the activities developed during the course of the curriculum internship are described, concluding with the critical analysis of the host institution and the activities developed.
