| dc.description.abstract | Neste artigo analisa-se, de uma forma necessariamente sucinta, as relações, nomeadamente de natureza geoestratégica, entre os Açores e a Inglaterra durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Podemos constatar, que, durante este período, o interesse da maior potência marítima pelo arquipélago dos Açores, assentava na sua relevante situação geográfica quase a meio do Atlântico Norte, o que contribuiu também para a derrota da Alemanha. | por |
