Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT: The main objective of this article is to analyse the relations (mainly geostrategic) between Great Britain and the Azores from 1939 to 1945. During this period, the British interest over the Azores was due primarily to its important geographic position almost in the middle of the North Atlantic, which also contributed to the defeat of Germany.
