O presente relatório, intitulado Contributo para uma Carta Patrimonial no Concelho de Nordeste cumpre um dos requisitos (Dissertação ou Estágio com Relatório) para a obtenção do grau de mestre em Património, Museologia e Desenvolvimento, na Universidade dos Açores.
O estágio decorreu de 17 de novembro de 2016 a 27 de janeiro de 2017, no gabinete do Património, Cultura e Recursos Humanos da Câmara Municipal de Nordeste, ilha de S. Miguel, Açores, resultando do protocolo realizado entre a Universidade dos Açores e esta edilidade.
As atividades acompanhadas e desenvolvidas durante o estágio tiveram como temática proposta, a questão do património cultural do Concelho de Nordeste, dentro da lógica de organização e apresentação de um Contributo para uma Carta Patrimonial, que serviu como ponto de partida para a elaboração do presente relatório.
Assim, a oportunidade que nos foi dada pela Câmara Municipal de Nordeste de apresentarmos um Contributo para uma Carta Patrimonial no concelho de Nordeste, no qual procurássemos apresentar as potencialidades do concelho no âmbito do Património Cultural, foi o desafio que abraçámos.
ABSTRACT: This report titled A Contribution to a Heritage Charter on the Northeast County of S. Miguel meets one of the requirements for completing a master’s degree in Heritage, Museology and Development at the University of the Azores - Dissertation or Internship with Report. My internship was from November 17, 2016 to January 27, 2017. It took place at the Office of Heritage, Culture and Human Resources of the town hall of “Nordeste”, S. Miguel Island, Azores, resulting from a protocol between the University of the Azores and this Council. The activities followed and developed during my internship had as theme, the cultural heritage of Northeast County of S. Miguel, and as goal a contribution to the creation of a Heritage Charter, which served as the starting point for the development of this report. The opportunity given to me by the town hall of “Nordeste” to present a contribution for a Heritage Charter for the county was the challenge I embraced and enjoyed.
