Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem por base um estágio que decorreu entre 1 de outubro de 2018 e 30 de abril de 2019 na Câmara Municipal de Machico, na ilha da Madeira, e que abrangeu o desempenho de funções de Gestor de Marketing Turístico na respetiva entidade, através do Projeto Ecos Machico, pertencente à Câmara.
Ao longo do relatório existem algumas restrições, indicadas no documento, ao nível de informação a ser divulgada ao público, confidencialidade essa que foi solicitada pela Câmara Municipal. Tal situação justifica-se devido à fase de desenvolvimento inicial em que o projeto se encontrava, durante a realização do estágio.
O relatório incide assim de forma sucinta sobre a realidade da Região Autónoma da Madeira, do Concelho de Machico e do Projeto Ecos Machico. Porém o foco do documento é a descrição das atividades realizadas durante o estágio, quer ao nível de marketing e promoção turística do concelho, da conceção estratégica de um posto de informação turística e da hospitalidade do mesmo, bem como de eventos municipais associados à autarquia e à celebração dos 600 anos do concelho de Machico, em que o estagiário colaborou.
ABSTRACT: The basis for the following report is an internship which took place between October 1st 2018 and April 30th 2019, in the City Hall of Machico, located on the island of Madeira and where activities as a Tourism Marketing Manager where performed in the Ecos Machico Project, belonging to City Hall. During this report, certain restrictions have been made, regarding the release of information to the general public, as requested by the City Hall oficials, during the internship, pertaining actions and projects still in development. As such this report focuses briefly on the reality of Madeira, the city of Machico, the Ecos Machico Project. But its main focus are the activities accomplished during the internship, regarding, marketing, tourism promotion, strategic planning of a tourism information office and its hospitality, also aiding in municipal events activities associated with Machico’s 600 years celebration in which the intern cooperated.
