Abstract(s)
Este trabalho de projeto visa definir as condições de uma linha de crédito, sem custos financeiros, de apoio ao investimento na sustentabilidade ambiental das Micro e PMEs da Região Autónoma dos Açores.
Com este objetivo, procedeu-se, numa primeira fase de estudo, à revisão das principais iniciativas e diretrizes relacionadas com a temática da sustentabilidade ambiental, em particular no seio da União Europeia.
Analisou-se com maior profundidade, os temas do desenvolvimento e do financiamento sustentável, suas implicações, identificando-se os principais desafios para as empresas.
Procedeu-se à avaliação conjuntural das principais iniciativas para a promoção do crescimento sustentável, o combate às alterações climáticas, a degradação da biodiversidade e para a promoção da heterogeneidade social, particularizando-se as
propostas no seio da União Europeia.
Reviu-se os conceitos e regulamentação de maior impacto associada à sustentabilidade no âmbito da União Europeia.
Por fim, elaborou-se uma ficha técnica, com os diferentes requisitos e condições necessárias ao acesso pelas Micro e PMEs dos Açores a uma linha de financiamento regional que promova a transição destas empresas para atividades e processos produtivos
ambientalmente sustentáveis, em linha com as metas assumidas internacionalmente para o objetivo da neutralidade carbónica.
ABSTRACT: This work aims to define the conditions for access, of a credit line, with no financial cost, to support investment in the environmental sustainability of Micro and SMEs in the Autonomous Region of the Azores. With this objective in mind, in the first phase of study, a review of the main existing initiatives and guidelines related to the theme of environmental sustainability was carried out, particularly within the European Union. The sustainable development and financing subjects were analyzed in greater depth, as well as their implications, identifying the main challenges facing companies today. An assessment was carried out of the main initiatives for the promotion of sustainable growth, the fight against climate change and the degradation of biodiversity and for the promotion of social heterogeneity, particularizing the proposals within the European Union. The most important concepts and regulations associated with sustainability within the European Union were reviewed. A survey was carried out of the situation of the initiatives, particularly the initiatives proposed by the European Union. Finally, a technical sheet was prepared with the different requirements and conditions necessary for access to a financing line that promotes the transition of Azorean Micro e SMEs activity and productive process to a greater sustainability level and in line with internationally agreed targets for the objective of carbon neutrality.
