Abstract(s)
O presente documento surge da análise e reflexão das práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas em contexto dos estágios inseridos nas unidades curriculares de Estágio Pedagógico I e II. Estas disciplinas integram o plano curricular do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, da Universidade dos Açores.
Este Relatório de Estágio intitula-se Educar para Valores através da Literatura Infantil na Educação Pré-Escolar e no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e tem como foco a importância da educação para valores e da literatura infantil nestes níveis de ensino.
Neste trabalho, apresentamos a práxis educativa axiológica onde implementamos um processo de educação para valores aliado à literatura infantil, com o objetivo de promover o gosto pela leitura entre os mais novos e, também, levar os alunos a refletir sobre as suas ações, para que construíssem uma consciência moral autónoma. De modo a atingir os nossos objetivos realizámos entrevistas à educadora e professora cooperantes e às crianças/alunos, para compreendermos as suas conceções sobre os valores e sobre a importância que atribuem à literatura infantil.
O atual Relatório está dividido em duas grandes partes que dialogam entre si. A primeira é destinada à reflexão sobre conceitos como educação, valores, literatura infantil, a relação que se pode estabelecer entre estes conceitos e quais as metodologias a adotar numa educação para valores aliada à literatura infantil. A segunda parte enfoca-se na análise reflexiva acerca das práticas pedagógicas adotadas no âmbito dos estágios na educação pré-escolar e no ensino do 1.º ciclo do ensino básico. Para além da reflexão sobre as nossas próprias práticas pedagógicas, são também apresentados os objetivos que orientam a elaboração deste trabalho, são caracterizados os contextos onde foram realizados os estágios, são identificadas as conceções/representações de vários educadores e professores sobre a educação para valores e a importância da literatura infantil e, também, são descritas as atividades implementadas nos estágios no âmbito da temática deste relatório.
No final, é elaborada uma reflexão global acerca da educação para valores através da literatura infantil, na qual se reconhece a importância de criar ambientes propícios à discussão de valores, recorrendo à utilização de textos e obras literárias, que irá promover a construção de uma consciência moral autónoma das crianças/alunos.
ABSTRACT: The present document arises from the analyse and refletion of the pedagogical practices developed in the context of the stages inserted in the curricular stages of the Pedagogical Stage I and II. These subjects integrate the curricular plan of Master in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, of the University of the Azores. This Report entitled The Education for Values through Children’s Literature in Pre-School Education and Basic Education and focus on the importance of the education for values and the children’s literature at these levels of education. With this work, we intended to plan an environment conducive to an education for values, combining it with children’s literature, to promote the interest in reading among the youngest. In order to achieve our goals, we found it pertinent to carry out interviews with the cooperating kindergarten teacher and 1st cycle teacher and children/students, to understand their conceptions about the values and the importance of children’s literature. The report consists of two parts that articulate and dialogue with each other. The first one is intended to reflect in concepts such as education, values, children’s literature, the relationship that can be established between these concepts and which methodologies to adopt in an education for values allied to children’s literature. The second one focuses on a reflective analysis of the pedagogical practices adopted within the scope oh internships in pre-school education and in teaching the 1st cycle of basic education. In addition of that, there are also presented the goals that consolidate the elaboration of this work, the description of the contexts where the internships were carried out, the conceptions/representations of various educators and teachers on education for values and the importance of children’s literature and as the description of the activities that were implemented in the internships within the scope of the theme of this report. In the end, it’s elaborated a global reflection of the education for values through children’s literature, in which is recognized the importance of creating environments conducive to the discussion of values, using texts and literary works, which will promote the construction of an autonomous moral conscience of children/students.
