Abstract(s)
Numa altura em que o preço do leite pago aos produtores gera cada vez mais insatisfação entre estes face às evidentes subidas dos custos dos fatores nos últimos anos, procura-se com este estudo perceber se há algum tipo de relação entre o preço pago e os custos dos fatores de produção através de uma análise de cointegração.
Os resultados foram inequívocos. Não há evidências empíricas que comprovem a existência de cointegração entre as variáveis do modelo, remetendo, assim, a justificação da oscilação do preço do leite para outros fatores que não os custos dos fatores.
ABSTRACT: At a time when the price of milk paid to producers generates increasing dissatisfaction among them due to obvious increases in the costs of the factors in the last years, we seek to understand, in this study, if there is a relationship between the price paid and the production factor’s costs through a cointegration analysis. The results were unequivocal. There is no empirical evidence that proves the existence of cointegration between the variables of the model, thus referring to the justification of the oscillation of milk price to factors other than the production costs.
