Abstract(s)
Com este trabalho de dissertação, realizado na área de especialização em Inovação e Promoção do Sucesso Educativo do curso de Mestrado em Educação e Formação, pretendemos compreender o efeito que o recurso a atividades expressivas poderá ter no processo educativo de cada indivíduo, na escola ou na comunidade. Quisemos saber em que medida os projetos que incentivam este tipo de práticas expressivas são inovadores e
promovem o sucesso educativo das crianças do ensino básico, considerando o caso específico de uma análise efetuada na Vila de Rabo de Peixe.
Neste estudo de caso, optámos por realizar uma pesquisa com características descritivas efetuada em 2022/23, com recurso à observação participante ̶ diário de bordo, sobre atividades práticas expressivas, e de intervenção sócio educativa, efetuadas no seio da escola, assim como, à entrevista estruturada, para a recolha de vivências práticas e perceções de um grupo de professores (n=10) e coordenadores de departamento/clube/projeto (n=4) desta vila, todos com muita experiência profissional, assim como, com uma formação e motivação variada para a área das expressões. Delineámos os nossos objetivos de estudo considerando as práticas usualmente realizadas em contextos educativos formais e não-formais, da escola à comunidade. Da análise dos resultados, cruzados com alguma pesquisa similar, inclusive a realizada na
Região Autónoma dos Açores, registamos que da análise dos resultados, cruzados com alguma pesquisa similar realizada na região, concluímos que a metodologia expressiva tem um elevado potencial para promover o sucesso educativo em práticas de ensino-aprendizagem orientadas para a melhor integração das crianças da educação básica. Os nossos educadores focaram a importância de alguns dos projetos de intervenção da área das expressões existentes, na promoção de atividades expressivas junto de crianças e jovens e, que criaram uma boa interação com a comunidade – família e cultura. A criação de capacidades expressivas - artísticas e desportivas, que promovam o individuo nas suas aprendizagens, inclusive académicas, poderá ser uma estratégia a desenvolver de imediato na Educação Básica da Vila de Rabo de Peixe.
ABSTRACT:With this dissertation work, carried out in the area of Specialization in Innovation and Promotion of Educational Success of the Master's Degree in Education and Training, we intend to understand the effect that the use of expressive activities can have on the educational process of each individual, at school or in the community. We wanted to know to what extent the projects that encourage this type of expressive practices are innovative and promote the educational success of children in basic education, considering the specific case of an analysis carried out in the village of Rabo de Peixe. In this study, we chose to carry out a research with descriptive characteristics carried out in 2022/23, using participant observation - logbook, on expressive practical activities, and socio-educational intervention, carried out within the school, as well as the structured interview, to collect practical experiences and perceptions of a group of teachers (n=10) and department/ club/ project coordinator (=4) of this village, all with a lot of professional experience, all with a lot of professional experience, as well as varied training and motivation for the area of expressions. We have outlined our study objectives considering the practices usually carried out in formal and non-formal educational contexts, from school to community. From the analysis of the results, cross-referenced with some similar research, including the one carried out in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, we note that from the analysis of the results, compared with similar research carried out in the region, we concluded that the expressive methodology has a high potential to promote educational success in teachinglearning practices aimed at better integration of children in basic education. Our educators focused on the importance of some of the existing intervention projects in the area of expressions, in promoting expressive activities with children and young people, which created good interaction with the community – family and culture. The creation of expressive skills - artistic and sporting, that promote the individual in their learning, including academic, could be a strategy to be developed immediately in Basic Education in Vila de Rabo de Peixe.
