| dc.description.abstract | Le discours sociologique sur la famille suit un parcours marqué par les contradictions et paradoxes qui accompagnent les profondes transformations de la société occidentale issue de la Révolution industrielle, l'intérêt porté à son étude variant selon le vécu et la représentation des crises de la famille considérée fréquemment comme des crises de la société. Le propos de cet article est une tentative de lecture de ce discours et un essai de classification périodique de la production sociologique sur la famille. Au fil du texte sont présentés les progrès significatifs enregistrés par la sociologie de la famille, sous l'angle de l'accroissement des connaissances et de la reformulation conceptuelle qui vont de pair avec les profondes modifications des comportements et des représentations sur la sexualité, le couple et l'émergence de ce que l'on pourrait désigner par de nouveaux modèles de mariage et de famille. | fra |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: Sociological study of the family is marked by contradictions and paradoxes associated with the profound social changes which occurred in Western society following the Industrial Revolution. It is of interest or otherwise, for study purpose, depending on experience and the representation of family crises, which are often (linked to social crises. This article attempts to interpret such study and to present a timescale for the sociological effect upon the family. The text deals with the significant advances made in family sociology, both in the field of data gathering and the conceptual reorganization, which accompany major changes in behaviour, and matters of sexuality, marriage and the emergence of what might be termed new marriage and family structures. | en |
