Temos verificado ao longo dos anos que o setor do turismo é importante para a economia portuguesa. O setor do turismo é bastante sustentável e têm ganhado muito peso nas regiões portuguesas, achamos por bem fazer uma análise da evolução ao longo dos anos. Esta dissertação pretende ajudar e contribuir para colmatar a falta de informação existente, onde analisamos a importância, a dinâmica, a eficiência do cluster do turismo nas regiões portuguesas.
Com a análise estatística feita aos clusters pretendemos verificar a evolução que existe nas regiões portuguesas na atividade do turismo, fazendo assim comparações entre a importância, a dinâmica e a eficiência do cluster turístico.
Através dos resultados obtidos verifica-se que existe diferentes grupos pelas regiões portuguesas, contribuindo assim de forma diferente para a importância, a economia, a dinâmica, a evolução do turismo ao longo dos anos e a eficiência do turismo.
Por fim, relativamente a dimensão da sustentabilidade verificamos que existe uma grande influência e evolução neste setor de atividade, destacando assim a importância da sustentabilidade nas regiões portuguesas.
ABSTRACT: We have verified over the years that the tourism sector is important for the portuguese economy. The tourism sector is very sustainable and has gained a lot of weight in the portuguese regions, we think it is good to make an analysis of the evolution over the years. This dissertation intends to help and contribute to fill the lack of existing information, where we analyze the importance, dynamics, efficiency of the tourism cluster in the portuguese regions. With the statistical analysis made to clusters we intend to verify the evolution that exists in the portuguese regions in the tourism activity, thus making comparisons between the importance, the dynamics and the efficiency of the tourism cluster. The results show that there are different groups in the portuguese regions, thus contributing differently to the importance of the economy, the dynamics and evolution of tourism over the years, and the efficiency of tourism. Finally, regarding the dimension of sustainability, we verified that there is a great influence and evolution in this sector of activity, thus highlighting the importance of sustainability in the portuguese regions.
