O tema central deste relatório de projeto foi a “Orçamentação numa Empresa de Gestão de Resíduos” desenvolvendo-se uma investigação sobre os comportamentos da produção de resíduos, na ilha de São Miguel, Açores. Pretendeu-se criar um modelo de previsão da produção de resíduos sólidos urbanos (RSU) para antecipação do volume de negócios, tendo como variáveis os principais indicadores da economia regional.
