Abstract(s)
O presente relatório descreve o estágio realizado no âmbito da área de especialização em marketing, como parte do Mestrado em Ciências Económicas e Empresariais na Universidade dos Açores. O estágio ocorreu na agência de viagens Interpass, de outubro de 2022 a junho de 2023, focando na área do atendimento ao cliente, bem como na prestação de serviços turísticos.
O grupo Interpass é um clube com sede em Portugal e destaca-se na gestão de viagens e experiências turísticas. Representando diversas marcas no setor, como Interpass Viagens, a empresa tem como principal atividade proporcionar soluções abrangentes para viajantes, incluindo pacotes turísticos, reservas de voos e serviços relacionados.
Ao longo deste relatório, serão detalhadas as atividades realizadas durante o estágio, abrangendo áreas como gestão de reservas, logística de viagens, análise de pacotes turísticos e estratégias de marketing. Inicialmente, será apresentada uma caracterização do Interpass, seguida de um enquadramento teórico relevante para o setor de agências de viagens. Posteriormente, serão discutidas em detalhe as atividades executadas durante o estágio, destacando-se a gestão de reservas, a logística envolvida na organização de viagens e o processo de reservas.
No final será apresentada uma análise crítica abrangente, avaliando o Interpass quanto às atividades desempenhadas durante o estágio. A análise será contextualizada com os conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do percurso académico, destacando as contribuições e aprendizagens obtidas no ambiente prático da agência de viagens.
ABSTRACT: This report describes the internship carried out within the area of specialization in marketing, as part of the master's degree in economic and business sciences at the University of the Azores. The internship took place at the Interpass travel agency, from October 2022 to June 2023, focusing on the area of customer service, as well as the provision of tourist services. The Interpass group, is a club based in Portugal, stands out in the management of travel and tourist experiences. representing several brands in the sector, such as Interpass Viagens, the company's main activity is to provide comprehensive solutions for travelers, including tourist packages, flight reservations and related services. Throughout this report, the activities carried out during the internship will be detailed, covering areas such as reservation management, travel logistics, analysis of tourist packages and marketing strategies. Initially, a characterization of Interpass will be presented, followed by a theoretical framework relevant to the travel agency sector. Subsequently, the activities carried out during the internship will be discussed in detail, highlighting: reservation management, the logistics involved in organizing travel and the process of reservations. In the end, a comprehensive critical analysis will be carried out, evaluating Interpass regarding the activities performed during the internship. This analysis will be contextualized with the knowledge acquired throughout the academic career, highlighting the contributions and learning obtained in the practical environment of the travel agency.
