Abstract(s)
A presente tese propõe uma investigação sobre processos cênicos escolares num espaço insular. O estudo pretende uma análise da construção de uma identidade cultural através de práticas culturais imbricadas em atividades artísticas de adolescentes estudantes do Ensino Médio de uma escola da Ilha de São Vicente, no litoral de São Paulo, que abriga dois municípios brasileiros: São Vicente e Santos. O recorte da pesquisa aborda o modo como tais práticas se organizam e produzem identidades vinculadas às artes da cena e às ações culturais. O aporte teórico-metodológico da pesquisa se situa no campo dos Estudos da Cultura, elencando narrativas e identidades em suas articulações com a Pedagogia do Teatro. Os referenciais teóricos utilizados partem, dentre outros, dos estudos de Richard Hoggart (1971, 1973), intelectual inglês que se dedicou aos Estudos Culturais, Stuart Hall (2014b), Francisco Varela, Eleanor Rosch e Evan Thompson (1993), e Theodor Adorno e Max Horkheimer ([1944] 1985). A investigação permite estudar experiências educativas que contribuem para a construção identitária da Ilha de São Vicente.
ABSTRACT: This thesis proposes an investigation of educational scenic processes in a school on an island space. The study aims to analyze the construction of a cultural identity through cultural practices embedded in the artistic activities of teenagers high school students in a school on the island of São Vicente, south Brazilian coast of the state of São Paulo. In the island, there are two Brazilian cities called São Vicente and Santos. The focus of the research is the way in which such practices are organized and produce identities linked to the performing arts and cultural actions. The theoretical-methodological contribution of the research is in the area of Culture on narratives and identities in its articulation with the theater pedagogy. The theoretical references used are Richard Hoggart (1971, 1973), an English intellectual who dedicated his life to Cultural Studies, Stuart Hall (2014b), Francisco Varela, Eleanor Rosch and Evan Thompson (1993) and Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer ([1944] 1985), among others. This investigation will allow studying educational experiences that contribute to the construction of the identity of the island of São Vicente.
