| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação é o resultado de uma investigação na qual nos propusemos pensar a noção de comunidade de investigação filosófica à luz do paradigma da intersubjetividade do filósofo alemão Jürgen Habermas, percorrendo um caminho teórico-prático entre os conceitos de intersubjetividade e comunidade de investigação filosófica e a prática de sessões de filosofia para crianças. Argumentamos que há uma relação de potenciação entre a comunidade de investigação filosófica e a racionalidade comunicativa, tal como foi desenvolvida ao abrigo do paradigma da intersubjetividade de Jürgen Habermas, e pode ser encontrada em diversos registos desta investigação: na nossa prática real do diálogo filosófico com crianças, no cruzamento de diferentes perspetivas dos especialistas na área, no modo como essas perspetivas se construíram a partir de diálogos que esses especialistas mantiveram, eles próprios, com crianças, e até no encontro entre essas perspetivas e as ideias que as crianças ventilam nas sessões. O conceito de comunidade de investigação filosófica, nascido no âmbito do programa educativo de Lipman e Sharp, instaurou uma comunidade que pensa a sua própria prática e, através dessa autorreflexão, se pensa a si mesma. A divulgação do programa e o crescimento da área para lá dos limites curriculares do Institute for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children, permitiu a emergência de um novo fenómeno: ao pensar a sua própria prática e, através dela, ao pensar-se a si própria, a comunidade de investigação abriu a porta para a sua reflexão enquanto noção filosófica. Clarificando, instaurou-se um movimento contínuo de ligação entre a prática e teoria, em que a primeira convocou a segunda e esta, como que ganhando uma vida própria, foi fecundar noções filosóficas já estabelecidas. É o caso da noção habermasiana de intersubjetividade. Neste sentido, defendemos que o modo como diferentes filósofos e praticantes refletiram e dialogaram acerca do conceito de comunidade de investigação filosófica é já um exemplo da prática de uma racionalidade comunicativa. O conceito de comunidade de investigação filosófica pressupõe, ele mesmo, uma ação comunicativa e, sendo um movimento do pensar que teve o seu início com Lipman e Sharp, continua a fazer caminho: trata-se, em nosso entender, de um conceito em movimento. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: This dissertation is the result of an investigation in which we propose to think on the notion of a community of philosophical inquiry in the light of Jürgen Habermas's intersubjectivity paradigm, following a theoretical-practical path between the concepts of intersubjectivity and the community of philosophical inquiry and the practice of philosophy for children. We argue that there is an empowering relationship between the community of philosophical inquiry and communicative rationality. In our view, this relationship is established by the paradigm of intersubjectivity of Jürgen Habermas, and can be found in different aspects of our research: in our actual practice of the philosophical dialogues with children, in the intersection of different perspectives of experts in the field, in the way these perspectives were built on the dialogues that these specialists had with children, and even in the ideas shared by children in philosophy sessions that meet these perspectives. The concept of a community of philosophical inquiry, born under the Lipman and Sharp program, has established a community that thinks its own practice and, through this self-reflection, thinks itself. The dissemination of the program and the growth of this philosophical field beyond the curricular boundaries of the Institute for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children has allowed the emergence of a new phenomenon: by thinking of its own practice and, through it, thinking of itself, the community of philosophical inquiry has opened the door for the possibility of a new philosophical notion. It means that the emergence of the continuous connection between practice and theory acquired autonomy in the sense that practice summoned theory, and theory, in turn, impregnated the philosophical notions already established. This is the case of the habermasian notion of intersubjectivity. Therefore, we argue that the way different philosophers and practitioners reflected and dialogued about the concept of community of philosophical inquiry is already an example of the practice of communicative rationality. The concept itself of a community of philosophical inquiry presupposes a communicative action and, being a movement of thinking that began with Lipman and Sharp, continues to make a way: it is, in our view, a concept in motion. | en |
