A bibliography of the fauna of the Islands of São Tomé e Príncipe and the island of Annobon (Gulf of Guinea)

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta uma lista de 317 documentos sobre a fauna da República Democrática de São Tomé e Príncipe e da ilha de Annobon, República da Guiné Equatorial. A maior parte dos trabalhos regem explicitamente nos seus títulos, uma ou mais ilhas ou suas espécies endémicas. Incluíram-se também outras publicações em cujo texto se menciona significativamente material biológico proveniente das ilhas. De relatórios e outros documentos não publicados só se incluem os que contêm informações consideradas como relevantes.

ABSTRACT: A list of 317 works concerned with the fauna of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé e Príncipe and the island of Annobon, Republic of Equatorial Guinea is presented. Most of the papers included refer directly to one of the islands or endemic species from the islands in their titles. However, other works that include significant sections on the islands are included, as well as unpublished papers that contribute useful information.
