Apresenta-se uma revisão sobre as principais espécies usadas nos Açores na formação de sebes vivas:
- de protecção de fruteiras;
- de compartimentação de pastagens e outras culturas arvenses;
- com função mista de compartimentação e embelezamento em bermas de estradas e em quintais.
ABSTRACT: A review is presented on the main species used in the Azores on edges: - protecting fruit trees; - dividing pastures and other crops; - with a mixed function of dividing and turning the sidewalks and gardens more beautiful.
