Apresenta-se uma lista das algas marinhas bentónicas dos Açores, compilada com base na bibliografia existente. Esta lista compreende 307 espécies, das quais 48 pertencem à divisão Chlorophyta, 66 à Phaeophyta e 193 à Rhodophyta.
ABSTRACT: A checklist of the benthic marine algae of the Azores is given, based on published records. This list comprises 307 species, of which 48 species of Chlorophyta, 66 species of Phaeophyta and 193 species of Rhodophyta.
