Cet article présente tout d'abord le programme ethno muséologique de la municipalité de Lagoa, dasn l’ile São Miguel de l’archipel des Açores et décrit les "antennes" que l’on souhaite préserver et faire revivre. Ensuite, 11 fait l’histoire de la tonnellerie dans ses rapports avec une industrie d’alcool toute proche et finit par un projet de muséalisation de l’atelier de tonnellerie le plus important de l’ile, tout en décrivant les travaux réalisés et le fonctionnement de la nouvelle "antenne" muséologique.
ABSTRACT: This article firstly presents the ethnological program of the district of Lagoa in the Island of St. Michael - Azores and describes the museum centres it aims to preserve and revive. Then, it addresses the history of the art of the cooper associated with the existence of an alcohol factory. Finally, it deals with the conservation process of the most representative cooperage (barrel making) of the island, describing the works accomplished and the functioning of the new museum center.
