Em Portugal são muitos os desafios que se colocam aos estudantes do ensino superior (adultos emergentes), no que diz respeito à adequação ao mercado de trabalho, à escassez de oferta de emprego e ao surto emigratório de diplomados. Dada a pertinência deste assunto na formação dos estudantes do ensino superior e sua transição para o mercado de trabalho, decidiu-se fazer um estudo exploratório quantitativo e correlacional, com base numa amostra de 120 alunos finalistas de licenciatura e mestrado da Universidade dos Açores. ABSTRACT: In Portugal higher education students (emerging adults) face many challenges with the goal of obtain a job: the scarcity of available jobs and the emigration of graduate’s outbreak.
