O sĂ©culo XXI serĂĄ recordado na HistĂłria da Humanidade como o sĂ©culo da mudança, do perigo iminente, do âchoque das civilizaçÔes», da insegurança colectiva, da desconfiança do âoutroâ, das injustiças praticadas, da Guerra do Iraque e, principalmente, dos trĂĄgicos atentados terroristas ocorridos a 11 de Setembro de 2001, nos Estados Unidos, 11 de Março de 2004, em Espanha e a 7 de Julho de 2005, em Londres. PorĂ©m, nĂŁo devemos olvidar todos os outros atentados aos mais elementares Direitos Humanos perpetuados, diariamente, pelo Mundo. A epidemia da âinsegurançaâ prolĂfera pelo Mundo, por isso, Ă© urgente que a UniĂŁo Europeia tenha uma PolĂtica Externa e Segurança Comum reforçadas.
ABSTRACT: The twenty first century will be remembered in Mankind History as the century of change, constant danger, âcivilizationâs crashâ, collective insecurity, mistrust towards the âotherâ, injustice caused by Iraq war, and, mainly, caused by the terrorist attacks occurred on the September 11th 2001, in the United Sates, March 11th 2004, in Spain and July 7th 2005, in London. However, we shouldnât neglect all the other terrorist attacks to the most elementary Human Rights, daily perpetuated around the World. The âinsecurityâ epidemic proliferates around the World, therefore, itâs urgent that The European Union has a reinforced External Politics and Common Security.
