| dc.description.abstract | A nossa reflexão sobre o contributo português para a internacionalização da formação de professores assenta na análise de iniciativas protagonizadas por duas instituições de ensino superior: A Universidade do Minho (UM) e a Universidade dos Açores (UAc). O presente capítulo organiza-se em função dos dois eixos de internacionalização acima referidos: o eixo europeu e o eixo lusófono. Quer a UM quer a UAc têm operado nos dois eixos. O principal traço distintivo entre as estratégias de internacionalização da formação de professores implementadas pelas duas instituições consiste no especial investimento da UAc na relação com instituições localizadas na América do Norte, no âmbito do eixo lusófono, o que facilmente se compreende à luz do facto de a diáspora açoriana se localizar maioritariamente nos EUA e no Canadá. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: Our reflection on the Portuguese contribution to the internationalization of teacher education is based on the analysis of initiatives embraced by two institutions of higher education: The University of Minho (UM) and the University of the Azores (UAc). This chapter is organized around two axes of internationalization: the European axis and the Lusophone axis. Both the UM and the UAc have operated on both axes. The main difference between the strategies of internationalization implemented by those institutions in the field of teacher education is the special investment made by the UAc in its relationship with institutions located in North America, in the context of the Lusophone axis, which can be easily understood in light of the fact that the Azorean diaspora is mostly located in the USA and in Canada. | en |
