Num mundo imerso em profundas mudanças, o avanço tecnológico e digital tornou-se omnipresente no “tempo em movimento” dos cidadãos, e a alteração de paradigma causado pela Nova Museologia – o holofote foi direcionado para o público em detrimento do objeto e coleções – contribuíram para a assunção da função educativa dos museus. Esta nova forma de pensar e agir impulsionou a instituição a reajustar-se à sociedade, transformando-a num organismo social, aberto e dinâmico. O Museu transformou-se num interlocutor privilegiado de aprendizagens, ao ser um lugar inclusivo, plural e propício ao desenvolvimento de conhecimentos individuais e de atividades educativas. O Museu do Parlamento dos Açores, inaugurado em 2023, valência da Assembleia Legislativa da Região Autónoma dos Açores (ALRAA), permitiu dotar a instituição de um espaço vocacionado para preservar e celebrar a memória autonómica, a história parlamentar, reconhecendo, registando figuras e factos da sua implantação e evolução, o que resultou de uma pretensão ambiciosa antiga e formalmente instituída em 2015, através da Resolução ALRAA n.º 24/2015/A. A inexistência de reflexões e trabalhos académicos sobre o Museu do Parlamento dos Açores, decorrente da sua abertura em 2023, tipologia e projeto pioneiro de musealização no contexto insular português, bem como a escassa literatura sobre a educação museal em museus parlamentares, a importância do público escolar na prática e no discurso museológico destas instituições, constituíram razões motivacionais para a escolha do tema. Este trabalho teve como propósitos contribuir para a prática educativa com uma proposta lúdico-pedagógica para o Serviço Educativo, promovendo a pedagogia da autonomia política, a cultura democrática e a cidadania participativa mediante uma relação dialógica entre museu, escola e comunidade, em contextos de aprendizagens não formais.
ABSTRACT: In a world immersed in profound changes, technological and digital advancements have become omnipresent in the "time in motion" of citizens and the paradigm shift caused by New Museology – the spotlight was directed towards the public instead of the object and collections – contributed to the assumption of the educational role of museums. This new way of thinking and acting made the institution readjust itself to society, transforming it into a social, open and dynamic organism. The Museum became a privileged interlocutor of learning, being an inclusive, plural and precious place conducive to the development of individual knowledge and educational activities. The Museum of the Azores Parliament, inaugurated in 2023, as a part of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores (ALRAA), aims to provide the institution a space dedicated to preserving and celebrating autonomous memory, parliamentary history, recognizing and registering figures and facts of its implementation and evolution, which resulted from an old ambitious pretension, formally instituted in 2015, through ALRAA Resolution No. 24/2015/A. The absence of academic reflections and studies about the Azorean Parliament Museum, resulting from its opening in 2023 as a pioneering musealization project within the portuguese insular context, along with the limited literature on museum education in parliamentary museums and the importance of the school public in their museological practices and discourse, were key motivational factors in the selection of this research topic. This work aims to contribute to educational practice by proposing a ludic-pedagogical activity for the Educational Service, promoting the pedagogy of political autonomy, democratic culture, and participatory citizenship through a dialogical relationship between museum, school, and community, within the framework of non-formal learning contexts.
