Os blogues de literatura portugueses no século XXI : uma análise a cinco blogues

Abstract

O presente trabalho académico estuda cinco Blogues de Literatura Portugueses: As Histórias de Elphaba, Atmosfera dos livros, Estante de Livros, Marcas de Leitura e Silêncios de Falam. Estes blogues são estudados a nível da sua estrutura e conteúdo. O objetivo é refletir sobre o funcionamento dos blogues de literatura no século XXI, determinando, mais concretamente, como estão estes blogues organizados, que utilização fazem da web 2.0 e das redes sociais, o que motiva os seus autores, assim como quais as temáticas das obras literárias de que falam. Nas últimas décadas foram vários os autores a anunciar a morte do livro impresso. Neste trabalho iremos refletir sobre a precisão destas previsões, e tentar averiguar se o texto digital na forma de blogue está a promover o códice ou se está a contribuir para a sua possível extinção.

ABSTRACT: The following Master’s Degree Thesis studies five Portuguese Literature Blogs: As Histórias de Elphaba, Atmosfera dos livros, Estante de Livros, Marcas de Leitura e Silêncios que Falam. We studied these webpage’s structures and posts. The main goal is to reflect upon the literature blogs on the 21st century: how are they organized, how do they use the Web 2.0 and social media sites, what motivates the bloggers to create and maintain their pages, as well as the kind of books they read. In the last few decades, several authors announced the death of the printed book. In this study, we will reflect on the precision of this predictions, and we will try to examine whether the digital text (specifically blogs) is promoting the printed book or contributing to its extinction.
