Este documento vem no seguimento do Estágio Pedagógico I e do Estágio Pedagógico II, unidades curriculares integradas no Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, ministrado na Universidade dos Açores. A escolha desta temática partiu da necessidade de se aprofundar o nosso estudo sobre o papel das Expressões Artísticas no cenário educacional, bem como refletir sobre as suas potencialidades pedagógicas e didáticas. Neste particular, o estágio assume um papel essencial, uma vez que se torna num espaço privilegiado de observação, experimentação e aprendizagem, não só ao nível das Expressões Artísticas, como também ao nível da própria docência, visto que procuramos aprofundar questões relacionadas com a mesma. Tendo em conta o principal objetivo deste Relatório, realizámos uma investigação que nos permitiu analisar as representações de futuros educadores/professores, em processo de formação inicial na Universidade dos Açores, relativamente à eficácia do seu percurso académico na área das Expressões Artísticas, bem como às suas expetativas e dificuldades relativamente à sua abordagem futura. Tendo por base a análise e reflexão acerca das nossas práticas, podemos concluir que as Expressões Artísticas se assumem como lugares privilegiados de aprendizagem, pelo que lhes deve ser dado um papel mais presente e ativo na educação dos nossos dias, valorizando o seu currículo e contrariando a ideia de que funcionam apenas como apoio e suporte ao trabalho realizado nas demais áreas curriculares. Para que este cenário se verifique, é essencial investir na formação inicial dos futuros educadores/professores, uma vez que estará nas suas mãos dar o devido valor ao currículo e às potencialidades das Expressões Artísticas, junto das futuras gerações que lhes vierem a ser confiadas.ABSTRACT: The present Internship report has as its title (Re) Putting the Artistic Expressions in the Curriculum of Pre-School Education and the 1st Cycle of Basic Education: An experience in the scope of the Internship report, since our main purpose is to analyze and reflect on the place and role of artistic expressions in the curriculum starting from the educational action developed in our Pedagogical Stage. This document follows the Pedagogical Internship I and the Pedagogical Internship II, curricular units integrated in the Master in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, taught at the University of the Azores. The choice of this theme started from the need to deepen our study on the role of Artistic Expressions in the educational scenario, as well as reflect on their pedagogical and didactic potentialities. In this respect, the internship plays an essential role, since it becomes a privileged space for observation, experimentation and learning, not only at the level of artistic expression, but also at the level of teaching itself, since we seek to deepen questions related to it. Considering the main objective of this report, we carried out an investigation that allowed us to analyze the representations of future educators/teachers, in the process of initial formation at the University of the Azores, regarding the effectiveness of their academic career in the area of Artistic Expressions, their expectations and difficulties regarding their future approach. Based on the analysis and reflection about our practices, we can conclude that Artistic Expressions are assumed as privileged places of learning, so they should be given a more present and active role in today's education, valuing their curriculum and contradicting the idea that they only function as support and support for the work carried out in the other curricular areas.
